I finally got to hunt with Nova this year and she brought a little luck with her!

Bear lounging around on a particularly slow day in the marsh. You can see why I love silver labs, they all but disappear in the reeds and cattails!

Divers Are In!

I took Bear out this week to chase the canvasbacks that are starting to show up around the Great Salt Lake. It ended up being a great variety hunt where I not only harvested a can, but also a redhead, gadwall, wigeon, pintail, shoveler, and a mallard!
